“This is a gem of a book.”
Anja Murray: My favourite wildlife and environment books of 2025, The Irish Examiner, Dec 2025
“Poet Jane Clarke, tree conservationist Catherine Cleary, and illustrator Jane Carkill combine to rich effect in The Hare’s Corner: Making Space for Nature. Each brings a pillar of their own. Clarke’s verse and Carkill’s images provide the bass notes – the sumptuous imagery and heart-deep evocations that nature is uniquely adept at stirring.”
