Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

  1. Own the land or have permission to carry out works on the said land (e.g if you are applying on behalf of a school or community group) in any of the counties that applications are open for (see list above).
  2. Not apply for actions which fall in designated areas, e.g. SAC, SPA or NHA. (If you are unsure, visit : NPWS Designations Viewer ) as we are trying to keep this hassle-free!
  3. Not apply for actions on land which contains an historic monument. If you are unsure, visit this website and enter your address/location: Historic Monument Viewer
  4. Not apply for actions on a site that is already species rich.
  5. Know that farmers who are ACRES or NPWS Farm Plan Scheme participants are currently not eligible to apply – we want to avoid double funding!
  6. Know that if selected to participate, you are giving The Hare’s Corner team permission to use  data generated from your site for project communications, reporting and monitoring purposes.
  7. This initiative is coordinated by Burrenbeo Trust, a registered Charity. Know that if we are oversubscribed, then priority will be given to Burrenbeo Members. You can support our work by becoming a Member at burrenbeo.com
