Each Mini Woodland comprises of 50 or more native trees of 7-10 different species provided to landowners along with guidance for creating a woodland habitat on their land.
A Hare’s Corner orchard comprises of 5-8 apple trees of traditional or heritage varieties provided for planting along with guidance to create a Heritage Orchard.
A Hare’s Corner Pond is a result of an on-site visit by one of our pond advisors and micro-funding offered to the landowner for creating a wildlife pond.
Each Plan for Nature comprises of a visit to a participating site by a Hare’s Corner advisor and provision of bespoke recommendations on enhancing biodiversity at the site through a simple, visual report.
Each Wildlife Hedge comprises of 50 or more native trees of 5-6 different species provided to landowners along with guidance for planting at the edges of gardens or fields to provide wildlife with food, nest sites, shelter and important corridors for moving through the landscape.
